You Can Make a Difference!

St. Catherine's is just the first of several orphanages we hope to partner with in developing a sponsorship program. When you sponsor a child, you not only build a relationship with them and change their present and future, you change your own life. Stepping out of our comfort zone to care for a child in desperate need changes us as well. For the cost of a dinner out, you can bring healing to the heart of a child today while giving them a more stable future.

In the photo above you will see Priti receiving a Christmas present from her sponsors. It was the first gift she had ever been given in her entire life....birthday parties, holiday parties, presents given out of love, were something she had never experienced. When we met Priti she was new to the orphanage and still had a haunted look in her eyes, but we knew that it would only be a matter of time before she would be smiling and feeling loved as the other kids do.

Sponsorship donations are used for the following:

1. Education:
Enabling St. Catherine's to hire the best teachers available

2. Counseling:
Helping provide the salary of social workers and counselors

3. Counseling programs: Happy Feet Project
Using art, music and dance therapy.

4. Follow-up of children who leave: Happy Home Program
Reunification of families and employment assistance.

5. Special renovation projects when needed


		Our Mission

Sunshine Kids International connects caring people with needy and homeless children in India through sponsorships and other partnerships. We provide holistic care through excellence in education, counseling, dance, music and art therapy, creating lifelong change in children, their families and communities by breaking the cycle of poverty and abuse.

For only $30/month, you can become a sponsor and help change the life of a child. Your tax-deductible gift can be given monthly, quarterly or annually and you will be sent a sponsorship package with instructions, information to contact your child if you choose and donation receipts. You can request a boy or a girl and choose a young child, older child or a teenager. You will be sent a picture of your child and can keep in touch with them as often as you would like.

As a sponsor, you can build a relationship with and visit your child. Manesha and Akshay, have a mom who loves them, but can't provide for them, so she visits them weekly.
